THE EDGE STYLE # 2

BURBERRY PRORSUM FALL 2009

Christopher Bailey, the young genius behind the British powerhouse BURBERRY PRORSUM sent out models clad in the house's signature check interpreted in scarves and most of them were handsomely dressed in outerwear too cool to even happen at a time like this. Velvet jackets were done up in dark blue and a certain shade of green, exuding that feeling of luxurious dressing despite the economic crunch. But what I love the best is the simplicity and the in-your-face chic of the scarf, plus the strict, tailored coat and the white button down and the slim cut trousers.
There's nothing more effortlessly chic than Burberry.
