BALENCIAGA FALL 2009
A successful women's wear collection for Balenciaga by Nicholas Ghesquiere should follow a successful men's wear collection.
And so it happens. With a small collection that's big enough-in detail, style and design, to kick ass hard, the latest offerings of Ghesquiere for die-hard Balenciaga male fans is just outstanding.
My personal favorite is this letterman jacket.
For Fall 2009 the direction Balenciaga is structural and has painful, almost too technical detailing. With a color palette muted and darker for the coming Fall and Winter, pops of quirky color add smart chicness to everything.
Great job for Ghesquiere.
