GET SMART:
C by TOM McCARTHY

Those excited to grab a perfect fall read, C by Tom McCarthy just might sooth your literary souls.
Inspired by post-humanism and sounding like an early Samuel Beckett (according to The Guardian and DETAILS), C comes off as too intellectual and probably awfully difficult to read, but reviews online have testified otherwise.

A coming-of-age novel that talks about a child who grew up in a slightly different school (an experimental school for the deaf), it dives deep into explorations of technology and human relationships...Well, the brilliance of McCarthy is his ability to add humor to his pages and from the looks (and sound) of it, this seems like a diamond in the rough.
